Meet Dr. Nunney

Dr. Andrea Nunney, MS, DDS

Dr. Andrea Venizelos Nunney was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio. As a young girl she developed a love for all things water. This love led her to her first career as a lifeguard on one of Lake Erie’s beautiful beaches.

Dr. Nunney received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Ohio Wesleyan University. She went on to attend Case Western Reserve University where she received her Master of Science degree in Anatomy. While at Case Western, Dr. Nunney and a small team of researchers studied oral epithelial mucosa to better understand cancer cells. Her research findings were published in the medical journal, Oral Oncology, in August 2009.

Upon graduating from Case Western, she pursued a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she received many clinical and academic honors prior to graduating at the top of her class. Immediately following dental school, Dr. Nunney remained at the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed her advanced specialty training in Endodontics.

When Dr. Nunney is not saving teeth, she is chasing around her three kids and dog, Daisy, and enjoying time with her family. If given the opportunity, she loves to cook or nestle up with a good book.
